The Nord Drum 3P is a compact percussion synthesizer offering endless sound design possibilities. It features an integrated multi-pad, Reverb and Delay effects, and a simplified sound selection mode for quick kit creation. New Sound Banks make it easy to customize your setup on the fly.
The global Stereo Reverb and Delay effects add depth to your sounds, with adjustable levels for each drum channel. The Drum Select feature provides quick access to a wide range of preset drum sounds, allowing you to replace toms, cymbals, or kicks in seconds. With 9 categories of presets, it’s perfect for fast sound changes during rehearsals.
Sound generation is split into three sections: Tone, Noise, and Click. The Tone section offers four synthesis modes, while the Noise section adds texture with a variety of noise types. The Click section provides ultra-short attack sounds, with level control for smooth integration with the other elements.
Each of the 6 channels features Drive, EQ, and Ring Modulation effects, with new Master Reverb and Delay effects. The Reverb includes 5 room algorithms, and the Delay features Tap Tempo with adjustable feedback. Both effects can be individually controlled for each channel.
The Channel Mixer offers level and pan controls for a balanced stereo image, and MIDI in/out allows for integration with external pads or sequencers. The Nord Drum 3P is also compatible with the free iPad app Nord Beat for MIDI sequencing.
